The 2026 edition is presented by Slow Food Hudson Valley.

Come explore some of the finest cider nearly 400 years of apple growing in the Hudson Valley has made possible.

Now entering its sixth year, the Hudson Valley Cider Symposium at Westwind Orchard brings together regional cidermakers, orchardists, distillers, and cider enthusiasts to celebrate the close of the apple harvest and the people carrying the region’s apple-growing tradition forward.

More than a dozen producers from across the Hudson Valley (including Treasury Cider) and surrounding region will pour cider, fruit distillates, and other expressions of the orchard harvest. Guests will have the opportunity to taste across a range of styles, meet the people behind the bottles, and learn about the fruit, farming practices, and fermentation traditions shaping the region’s cider culture.

The afternoon will also include an orchard and cidery tour led by Westwind owner and cidermaker Fabio Chizzola, along with wood-fired pizza from the Westwind kitchen.

Rooted in Slow Food’s commitment to good, clean, and fair food and drink, the symposium connects guests more closely with the land, craft, and people behind what they taste.
